Meet Hamid, Our Head of Transportation
Hailing from a nomadic Berber family, Hamid’s roots run deep in the majestic Sahara Desert. With years of exploration under his belt, he possesses an intimate knowledge of the desert’s vast expanses, hidden oases, and shifting dunes. This innate understanding allows him to navigate the desert’s challenges with ease, ensuring our travelers experience the magic of the Sahara with utmost safety and comfort.
A gifted linguist, Hamid speaks five languages, including English, Spanish, French, Arabic, and German, in addition to his native Berber and Moroccan Darija. This remarkable language proficiency enables him to communicate effortlessly with travelers from diverse backgrounds, making every interaction a warm and welcoming experience.
As the mastermind behind our in-house transportation, Hamid is the driving force (pun intended!) behind our exceptional riding experiences. His passion for delivering seamless, safe, and enjoyable journeys is evident in every detail, from meticulously maintained vehicles to expertly planned routes. Amal was born and raised in the old city of Marrakech, where the rhythm of daily life, the charm of the medina, and the richness of Moroccan hospitality shaped her from an early age. With 18 years of experience in the travel and accommodation industry, she has developed an exceptional understanding of the country’s diverse lodging landscape—from intimate riads tucked inside ancient alleyways to boutique hotels and luxury retreats spread across Morocco.
Her extensive journeys have sharpened her eye for detail and deepened her passion for discovering new boutique properties and unique stays.
