Atlantic Coast and Imperial Cities Tour

Day 1: Marrakech

Upon arrival at Menara Airport, enjoy a warm welcome before heading to your Riad in the heart of Marrakech. Explore this Imperial City that Winston Churchill called “The Last Paradise on Earth.” Visit the ancient ramparts, Menara Pavilion, and Koutoubia Minaret. Wander through the souks, where you’ll find brass, copper, textiles, pottery, and leather goods. The Jemaa el Fna Square remains as vibrant as it was 500 years ago, with snake charmers, acrobats, and storytellers. In the evening, enjoy an optional Fantasia Dinner at Chez Ali.

Day 2: Marrakech – Essaouira

Spend the morning exploring Marrakech’s iconic landmarks: Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, and the Djemaa El Fna Square. After lunch, head to Essaouira, a coastal city known for its fishing port, ramparts, and medina. Explore the historic Ex-Mogador area, famous for thuja wood crafts. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 3: Essaouira – Safi – Oualidia – El Jadida – Casablanca

Travel along the Atlantic Coast, stopping at Safi, once a Portuguese stronghold, to see its ceramic workshops and 16th-century fortress. Continue to Oualidia for lunch and then to El Jadida, famous for its Portuguese influence and cisterns. End your day in Casablanca, Morocco’s economic hub. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 4: Casablanca

In the morning, explore Casablanca’s key attractions: United Nations Square, Boulevard Mohamed V, Anfa, and the monumental Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world.

Day 5: Casablanca – Meknes – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Meknes

Depart for Meknes, visiting the impressive Bab El Mansour Gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Holy City of Moulay Idriss. Overnight in Meknes.

Day 6: Fes

Explore the spiritual heart of Morocco, Fes, with its historic medina and religious landmarks like the Karaouine Mosque and Medersa Attarine. Visit the Nejjarine Fountain and shop in the maze-like souks. After lunch in the medina, explore Fes El Jedid, the “new city.” Return to your hotel.

Day 7: Fes – Ifrane – Beni Mellal – Marrakech

On your way back to Marrakech, stop in Ifrane, known for its Swiss-like architecture. After lunch in Beni Mellal, visit the Aïn Asserdoun Springs. Arrive back in Marrakech and check in to your hotel.

Day 8: Marrakech – Cascade d’Ouzoud

Embark on a scenic journey south to the Cascade d’Ouzoud, a spectacular three-tiered waterfall that drops 110 meters into the river below. Explore the surrounding pine forests and enjoy the natural beauty of the Middle Atlas. Return to Marrakech for the night.

Day 9: Marrakech

After breakfast, transfer to the Menara Airport for your departure.
